  • How can I place an order with brainwave?

  • What is the rental duration and pricing?
    • The price listed on our catalogue is based on a minimum 3 days rental. • Extension of rental more than 5 days will be quoted upon request. • Standard rental period is 5 days, inclusive of the day of self-collection and self-return.
  • Can I arrange self-pick up?
    Yes, all rental items are to be collected from and returned at No:396, Jalan 25/39, Taman Petaling Kepong, 52100 Kuala Lumpur.
  • How much is the delivery and installation fee?
    • Delivery fee will be charged base on the selected location. Please contact us about the delivery fee. • Our delivery services does not provide any installation services. Please contact us about the installation fee.
  • What are the available payment methods?
    • Make payment via internet banking upon receiving invoice within 48 hours and email us your transaction receipt to info@brainwavech.com • Details of the bank account for internet banking will be given to you in the invoice. • We will not able to confirm the order without a booking deposit.
  • Do we need to pay the security deposit?
    A security deposit of 2x your rental amount is payable in cash upon collection of the rental items. This deposit will be returned once the rental items are returned on time and undamaged in their original condition. Setup & Teardown by Brainwave • This is only applicable to clients who have scheduled transport and manpower with us in advance. • A security deposit of 1.5x your rental amount is payable in cash during setup. This deposit will be returned upon teardown once all rental items are accounted for in good condition.
  • When will the security deposit be returned to me?
    After the goods return, we will transfer back the security deposit via online transfer within 5 working days.
  • Who is responsible for insuring the rental items once it has been delivered?
    BRAINWAVE insures the rental items whilst in transit, but once it has been delivered it is the hirer’s responsibility to insure the goods for damage and loss during the rental period (see the terms and conditions).
  • Is an offer automatically linked to a reservation?
    No, at BRAINWAVE a rental request or quotation does not mean the rental item has been reserved. Orders will not be confirmed until you have received a Pro Forma Invoice.
  • Is it possible to make order for oversea usage?
    No, our service is limited to Malaysia only.
  • Is it possible to obtain rental items beforehand for viewing?
    Yes, we will be happy to send you the respective sample piece for a small transport fee or alternatively you can view the it at our store.
  • Can I buy furniture at BRAINWAVE?
    Yes, our customer advisors will be happy to help you with special projects.
  • What happen if any damage / loss of items & packaging?
    • Missing or damaged rental items are chargeable at full retail value. This charge will be deducted from the security deposit. • Please ensure that all rental items are returned in their original boxes/packaging. Missing or damaged boxes/packaging will incur additional charges. • Stained rental item will incur a cleaning fee of RM30 per piece if require.
  • Are lights & batteries included?
    • Batteries are excluded from all rental items (unless otherwise stated) • Please ensure that all lights are switched off when not in use, or when no one is around to supervise it.
  • How about last minute change of event date?
    • Where there is a change of event date, we will make every effort to transfer all product rentals and services to the new date. Any expenses arising from the date change, including but not limited to fees that are non-refundable, will be the sole responsibility of the client. • For last minute changes, please take note that we will not be responsible for any impact on product availability and/or event quality.
  • How about if there is cancellations?
    • All cancellations must be submitted to us in writing. • There will be no refund for custom-made props or prints once you have submitted the order. • Cancellation made more than 7 days prior to collection/event date: 50% refund. • Cancellation made 4-6 days prior to collection/event date: 15% refund. • Cancellation made 1-3 days prior to the collection/event date: No refund. • No notice of cancellation given or no show on the collection/event date: No refund
